The homepage provides most of the
services a user might need.
The footer needs to be separate from
the rest of the page.
Some pages have different design
(screenshot 4).
The font type is easy to read and con-
sistent across the website.
The search tool works properly.
The sitemap is well organised.
Some of the features are not function-
ing (e.g. the weather and prayer times
apps) (screenshot 5).
Hyperlinks are well displayed. How-
ever, it’s advisable that link colour
gets changed after clicking (usually
non-visited links are blue and they
become red when clicked on).
Content:
Website content is a very crucial ele-
ment in ensuring its success in meet-
ing users’ needs and expectations.
The content should be succinct and
provide users with the information
they need, without being distracted
by unnecessary messages.
Following are a few remarks on the
website in this regard:
The language is smooth and easy to
read.
The website is rich in information and
services. However, some information
(especially content related to nursing)
is only in English.
There is an FAQ section. However,
the questions are not comprehensive.
It would be useful to provide a chan-
nel for asking questions and add the
common ones to the section (screen-
shot 6).
The website provides various commu-
nication channels with the public in-
cluding social media. However, there
is not much interaction with the public
through these channels (for example,
they could have been used to encour-
age participation in the brainstorming
called for by HH Sheikh Mohammed
bin Rashid Al Maktoum to improve the
health sector).
Final Remarks:
The aim of this quick review is to high

light the main features and unique
characteristics of the website in ad-
dition to a few areas that can be im-
proved in order to provide a better
user experience.
