predictions for
2015
Several leading IT companies announced their 2015 IT predictions
for the Middle East region highlighting the growing influence of
wearables and the continued pressure to optimize cloud projects.
Forecasts also expected the Middle East market to drive digital in-
novation at global level. F5 Networks, the Application Delivery Net-
working leader, predicted that emerging markets are likely to drive
digital innovation, and that the public sector will continue embrac-
ing more comprehensive and tailored online services.
F5 Networks urged business-leaders to
prepare for the growing impact of wear-
ables as BYOD continues to reign in the
workplace.
Meanwhile, Research and Markets, ex-
pected the global BYOD security market
to grow at a CAGR of 35.23 percent over
the period 2014 to2019.
IDC predicted that by 2017 90 percent of
datacenter and enterprise systems man-
agement will adopt new business models
to manage non-traditional infrastructure
and BYOD device categories.
Transparency Market Research expects
the global market for wearables to have
grown from USD 750 million in 2012 to
reach USD 5.8 billion by 2018.
