i-ADEC
a link between ADEC,
schools and parents
Using Windows apps store without a
credit card
Abu Dhabi Education Council’s (ADEC)
application “iADEC” is a mobile applica-
tion developed as an external portal to
link ADEC with educational community
members and schools. The application
provides school search capabilities, ac-
cess to latest ADEC news, publications,
and announcements and allows users to
communicate with ADEC in a quick and
direct manner.
The app, which is available through Apple
and Android platforms, comes in line with
ADEC’s strive to keep pace with the mod-
ern age developments and streamline the
services offered to the public.
The app supports English and Arabic lan-
guages and features several services,
such as locating schools, lodging sugges-
tions and complaints through its interac-
tive communication that can be sent and
received via the smart app.
Moreover, the app allows parents and the
local community members to access AD-
EC’s latest news and videos, as well as
download the council’s published manu-
als, bulletins, policies, standards, proce-
dures and school management guide,
among others. This contributes to reduc-
ing burden of users looking for clear and
real-time information from around the
world and allowing them flawless access
to the information via their smart devices.
ADEC showcased its application at the
First Government Summit organized by
the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs on govern-
ment services excellence within a session
under the theme “Abu Dhabi Government
Experience in Smart Applications Devel-
opment. The demonstration shed light on
iADEC as a unique project and a distinc-
tive search tool for accessing information
and details related to public and private
schools in the country and promote com-
munication between the community and
ADEC.
