The Emirates Identity Authority has
launched an interactive application on its
Facebook page to assist people with hear-
ing and visual impairment as part of its “El
Kheir Huwiyati” initiative.
The app allows people with hearing impair-
ment to use Emirates ID’s services through
sign language and those with sight im-
pairment through the audio and the voice
messages feature. It provides a detailed
description on all the services offered by
the Authority, in addition to allowing the us-
ers to make enquiries, lodge complaints or
make remarks in an easy manner.
The app reflects Emirates ID’s strive to
optimize the online social communication
channels to serve its vision and strategic
objectives and enable all segments of the
community to obtain knowledge on its ser-
vices and procedures. It is also in line with
its commitment to integrate people with
special needs in the community and enable
them to use all the services it offers and
find modern methods to overcome their
difficulties and challenges while interacting
with the society.

Etisalat has launched its new ‘Etisalat
UAE’ interactive mobile application, giv-
ing customers access to all its services
and offers.
Etisalat said the application is available
on Android, iOS, Blackberry and Win-
dows platforms. It allows users to keep
updated with all Etisalat’s new packages
and innovative offers.
The app allows a host of features en-
abling post-paid subscribed users to
access their accounts and monitor their
usage data, voice and SMS usage, in ad-
dition to paying bills and Recharging ‘Wa-
sel’ mobile credit using credit card. the
app also helps users to know methods of
payments anytime and anywhere.
Through the app, Etisalat customers
also can select their favourite bundle for
phones, broadband or international calls
and keep updated on the saving promo-
tions.
The app introduces a new feature allow-
ing users to conduct Live chat with Eti-
salat’s customer care representative to
submit enquiries and receive responses.
It also allows them to locate Etisalat Busi-
ness Centers and outlets across the UAE
through chart maps, whereas the app’s
parking service enables users to pay
parking fees through SMS in Abu Dhabi,
Dubai and Sharjah.
