the client, the phone vibrates to notify him/

thinks vibration should be changed to an
audio notification with a special tone.
He continued saying that the app offers
several great services launched by RTA,
which are useful to a large group of peo-
ple.
Nahed Hammoud considered the smart
app to be one of the best government
service-based apps. She said that getting
a taxi in Dubai is a big problem as supply
does not meet the demand, which takes
a long time to hail a taxi on the street or
order one through a customer service
number.
She explained that the app saved much
time as it searches in the vicinity of the
client to locate the nearest taxi to his/her
location then the taxi starts immediately
heading to the customer. A map also ap-
pears to the client showing the route the
taxi is taking until its arrival.
Fady Hanna also asked the Smart Taxi
app administrators to show the location
of the client on the map in addition to the
location of the taxi so users may clearly
know the distance from the taxi and the
waiting time.
Hanna considered the app to be a very
positive step in general towards the devel-
opment of government services and their
transition into a smart concept.
Ghada Al Khouri agrees with the above
users. She said that the app saved her
much time that she spent in ordering a taxi
through phone or trying to hail one on the
street.
She asked for the app to include the fea-
ture of paying the taxi fare through phone,
thus rendering the app fully integrated.
She also suggested that the number of
taxis available in Dubai must be increased.
Mohammed Aziz said he likes the app de-
sign and ease of use but he agrees with
the above users that there is a serious
