Alex Wiesen, developer of the Google
Voice service, divulged that Google Voice
is now providing the option to make cyber
calls with Hangouts.
The new functionality does not require a
Google+ account and allows users to make
calls using Hangouts directly from Google
Voice website.
The feature can be accessed by entering
the phone number then selecting Hangouts
from a drop-down menu labeled “Phone to
call with.” The website will then launch a
separate Hangouts window, allowing con-
versation to take place as normal.
John McAfee, the founder of the pioneer An-
ti-Virus software, unveiled his new website
for people to vent their anger.
McAfee said he set the complaints of ordi-
nary people for the site everything from cor-
ruption to poor consumer products.
The website is called BrownList and carries
the motto “It’s Payback Time”.
“It taps into anger in a positive way,” McAfee
said. “Instead of someone on the highway,
more and more angry and shooting, or yell
at your wife, you can log in to the site.” He
added.
BrownList provides a forum for people to file
complaints against specific users and pro-
posed ways to solve the problem. Proposals
voted on by site members decide what type
of reaction is likely to be the best.
