Enough
infromation
about the
services
the user reach different sections of the
website.
The website provides enough information
about how to get the services and e-ser-
vices, including the Service Card.
The font colour used in the website is light,
which makes it difficult to read.
The search tool works well.
Vacancies comes under Data, which
is misleading. Also, the navigation trail
(breadcrumb) of the Open Data page is
not correct (screenshot 2).
Content:
Website content is a very crucial element
in ensuring its success in meeting users’
needs and expectations. The content
should be succinct and provide users with
the information they need, without being
distracted by unnecessary messages.
Below are a few remarks on the web-
site in this regard:
The website is rich in information and
services in both Arabic and English. It
provides detailed information about the
services and the documents required for
each service.
The FAQ section is very comprehensive.
There is a search tool to search within the
questions. It will be useful to provide a win-
dow for the users to ask more questions.
The language used in some pages needs
to be edited (screenshot 3).
The website provides various communi-
cation channels with the public including
social media and a window to ‘Contact the
Minister.’ However, the content focuses
more on the Ministry’s news and activities
rather than the services. There are some
ads posted as comments on the Ministry’s
Facebook page which requires constant
monitoring.
Final Remarks:
The aim of this quick review is to highlight
the main features and unique character-
istics of the website in addition to a few
areas that can be improved in order to
provide a better user experience.
The website was reviewed from 10-13 Au-
gust 2014. Any changes on the website
after that date are not
reflected.
Your comments and
remarks are always
welcomed.
