3500 digital documentary films on Sheikh Zayed
The National Archive received the digital versions of 3500 orginal
films from Abu Dhabi Media documenting the various aspects of
the life of the late Shiekh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
The digital version of the documentaries was saved on 3500 XD-
CAM discs, which are known for their large capacity, quality and
suitability, preserving them in the archives for the long term.
700 thousand visits to Abu Dhabi Judi-
cial Department website in 6 months
The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department webiste has at-
tracted 700 thousand visitors during the first half of
the year, making a 70 million repeated visits.
The website saw addition of three qualitative new
services raising the number of services offered
through it to 57 services.
2 million visits to Emirates ID web-
site in 6 months
The Emirates website of the Emirates Identity
Authority has attracted around 2 million visits
during the first half of 2014, which is similar to
the figures for the same period last year.
The Authority’s website also saw around 5 mil-
lion browsing movements during the first six
months of the year whereas the percentage of
new visits to the site stood during the period
at 35%, which would be around 700,000 new
visits.
2.156 million visits to WAM website in 6
months
The website of the UAE news agency ‘WAM’ has at-
tracted 2.156 million visitors during the first half of the
year, comparred to around 2 million visits during the
same period of 2013, a growth of 5.81 percent.
Statisticsd showed a remarkable growth in attracting
new visitors to the website, totalling to over 490 thou-
sand new visitors at a growth rate of 39.54 percent
compared to the same period of 2013.
1.8 million tweets on “#Our_Eid_in_Dubai”
The hashtag “#Our_Eid_in_Dubai” has attracted 1.8 million posts
on the social media websites Twitter and Instagram. Through
posts and pictures, tweeps described the pleasant times they
spent in Dubai during Eid.
