ubai Roads & Transport Authority’s RTA app users ranked it 4 out of 5 stars on both Android
and iOS platforms. Users considered the app to be one of the topnotch apps provided by gov-
ernment agencies in the UAE, as it offers services meeting the expectations and needs of Dubai
residents and visitors. They noted that one negative aspect about the app is making errors some-
times in recharging Salik account and the type of violations recorded on the card. However, they
are aware the app is not responsible for this error but rather RTA’s online system.
It is worth mentioning that the RTA current-
ly has 32 smart services on its main app
as well as sub-apps which are all compat-
ible with Android and iOS platforms, such
as paying parking fees, recharging and
viewing Salik account, “My City” service to
report breakdowns and any disruption in
the emirate, driver and vehicle licensing,
metro, public transport and taxis.
