The professional social networking web-
site LinkedIn has developed a new iPhone
application to help users search for new
jobs. The PC technology magazine said
the new “LinkedIn Job Research App” lets
users quickly find new job openings with a
location-based search, and get automatic
notifications when new openings pop up
that match their saved queries. If a user
finds something good, they can privately
apply with their LinkedIn profiles in a cou-
ple taps, while their entire network won’t
be notified. “There’s also an advanced
search tool that lets users filter jobs by ti-
tle, location, company, industry, or senior-
ity level,” the magazine added.
“To gain a leg up over other applicants,
you can use the app to learn more about
a company and see if you know anyone
who already works there,” the magazine
pointed out.
