National Archives (NA) started the imple-
mentation of phase one of the e-learning
and training project to educate employees
and raise their academic and professional
level. The project implemented by Horizon
includes forty accounts in English language
and general and behavioral courses in fields
like management, leadership and communi-
cation.
The project allows NA employees to take
these educational and training courses from
home or office in a pilot phase.
Dr. Abdulla El Reyes, NA Director General
said that the NA brought in digital learning
and training methods and techniques to the
work environment in order to allow employ-
ees the opportunity for self-development. He
stated that wise leadership gives due care to
prepare and qualify human resources and
encourages national organizations to adopt
this strategy.
The Abu Dhabi Systems and Information
Centre (ADSIC)’s e-Citizen programme for
the Abu Dhabi Government won first place
in the World Summit on the Information So-
ciety (WSIS) Award 2014 for E-Learning un-
der ICT Applications.
The award reinforces the leading position of
Abu Dhabi Government on the global map
in ICT.
Dr. Hamadoun I. Touré, Secretary General
of the International Telecommunication
Union (ITU) handed ADSIC Director Gener-
al, Rashid Bin Lahij Al Mansouri, the award
during the high-level event, which took place
in ITU’s headquarters in Geneva, Switzer-
land on 10-13 June with the participation of
the UAE and a large number of UN officials.

Smart Warehouse for Ajman Khor
His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin
Rashid Al Nuaimi, Ruler of Ajman and
Member of Supreme Council launched
the smart warehouse for Ajman Khor
development project, which was started
by the Ajman Free Zone (AFZ) over the
last two years.
This project is the latest and most re-
markable accomplishments and proj-
ects, marking a developmental leap
that significantly supports investment in
Ajman as it includes vast and modern
capabilities.
The multi-phase project covers a
400,000 square meter investment com-
pound that contains modern warehous-
es for storage and management offices
with various space areas. Every little
detail matters in order to create a dis-
tinguished and integrated project that
strongly encourages investors to use it.
The aim is for the project to be in its best
shape while including the environmental
and health factors of various standards.
