Homepage includes most
the services users need
The sitemap is well organised and helps
the user reach different sections of the
website.
The website provides enough information
about how to access e-services.
The design of the service page is different
from the rest of the website and there’s no
link to the homepage (screenshot 2).
The search tool does not work (screen-
shot 3).
Content:
Website content is a very crucial element
in ensuring its success in meeting users’
needs and expectations. The content
should be succinct and provide users with
the information they need, without being
distracted by unnecessary messages.
Below are a few remarks on the web-
site in this regard:
The website is rich in information and
services in both Arabic and English. It
provides detailed information about the
services and the documents required for
each service.
There is an FAQ section but it’s not com-
prehensive. The answers need to be edit-
ed. It will be useful to provide a window for
the users to ask more questions (screen-
shot 4).
The content of some pages needs to be
edited (screenshot 5).
The website provides various communi-
cation channels with the public including
social media and a window to “Ask the
Minister”. However, there is not much in-
teraction with the public through these
channels and the content does not focus
on the Ministry’s services. Also, most of
the posts are in Arabic only.
Final Remarks:
The aim of this quick review is to highlight
the main features and unique character-
istics of the website in addition to a few
areas that can be improved in order to
provide a better user experience.
