Alpha Apps, a mobile application studio
in Abu Dhabi, has launched its new ap-
plication “Al Mwajaha” (Confrontation) for
iOS based iPhones. Al Mwajaha is the
first social mobile game in Arabic.
The app allows players to connect to their
Facebook accounts to compete with their
friends in answering more than 12000
cultural questions. Players can choose
between a variety of topics including
geography, history, sports, technology,
literature, music and medicine, among
others.
The application is characterized by an at-
tractive interface that allows several op-
tions and features. Being a social app, it
doesn’t require the two competing parties
to play simultaneously, instead the first
player can complete the first round, wait
till the other player connects and finishes
the round and then pick the next round,
and so on.
Through the application, players can also
propose new questions where they can
select a category and write the question
and relative answers.
Abu Dhabi Retirement Pensions & Ben-
efits Fund (ADRPBF) has launched the
“Abu Dhabi Pension” mobile application
as part of its plans aimed at developing
its services and in line with Abu Dhabi
Government Vision 2030.
The new app introduces a package of five
services including ‘calculate end of ser-
vice’, ‘calculate previous services’, ‘get
tracking number’, ‘track your request’ and
‘suggestions/complaints/inquiries’ which
serves as a new channel of communica-
tion to receive customers’ feedback and
answer their queries.
“Abu Dhabi Pension” contributes to mak-
ing some of the Fund’s services in cus-
tomers’ reach round the clock. Through
the app, customers can easily calculate
their retirement pensions or end of service
benefits just by entering previous service
period and details of the salary subject to
deduction; the salary for which monthly
contributions are paid and includes basic
salary, house allowance, children allow-
ance, social allowance, citizen allowance
and cost of living allowance.
