Arabic ebooks
‘Vijua’, a software company, has launched
an application for creating interactive eb-
ooks in Arabic for Android and iOS smart
phones.
The new app is called ‘Kotobee’ and is
available with Arabic interface. It provides
users with a set of tools to create books
with interactive content using a variety of
interactive elements.
Through the app, users can either start
from scratch or import PDF documents
in Kotobee Publisher and apply edits to
their content. Vijua underlined that the
app is easy to use and users don’t need
any programming skills to work on it.
Other than Android and iOS, Kotobee
also runs on Windows and Mac devices
as well as on the web.
The app is available in two versions; a
free trial which contains a limited number
of tools and features, and a paid one that
Vijua offers in several packages starting
from US$ 80 for the web app and US$
300 for the mobile app.
