field study conducted by the Government Summit 2014 revealed that
93% of citizens and residents in the UAE are satisfied with the current
government services provided through smart phones, which indicates the
success of the transition to mobile government.
The study on customer needs and expec
-
tations of mobile services covered 1,100
people in the UAE. It showed that the in-
frastructure and advanced technology of
the UAE represent an ideal environment
for a shift towards mGovernment.
The study highlights the needs of the dif-
ferent segments of the society through
surveying a sample representing em-
ployees, business people, investors and
housewives. It helps the Government
learn about the needs of the users in
