33 million visits to YouTube daily
According to a report by Yes 2 Digital (Y2D), You-
Tube receives around 33 million visits per day with
80% of traffic from outside the US. Users watch
around 4.2 billion videos a day totalling around 200
million hours of videos while 100 hours of video are
uploaded every minute.
Over 5.3 million PlayStation 4 consoles
sold worldwide
Over 5.3 million PS4 systems were sold around the
world as of 8th February, 2014. The company had
previously forecast sales of 5 million units in the fi

nancial year ending March 2014.
1.9 million smartwatches shipped in 2013
Global smartwatch shipments reached 1.9 million
units last year. Google’s Android mobile OS cap-
tured a 61% market share, according to Strategy
Analytics. The nascent smartwatch market is start-
ing to take shape and there is huge opportunity for
growth.
Tablet shipments to hit 315 million units
in 2014
The global tablet PC shipments will rise to 315 mil

lion units this year, comprising more than 65% of
the market, according to NPD. Falling prices and
advances in displays will lead to higher shipment
levels of tablet PCs which will increasingly replace
notebook PC shipments.
