ance as a main factor in the success and
continuity of the app.
Al Ali wondered why Arab apps develop-
ers neglect a continuous update of the
apps they create, although update is a
distinctive and significant element in the
world of technology. He believes apps
should be in line with every new to meet
the need of the users and guarantee they
would use the app for as long as possible.
Not blaming Arabic, Al Ali, blamed Arab
apps developers for the weak Arabization
of English terms; the matter which caused
confusion in understanding the app and its
functions. He believes that the lack of sup-
porting Arab apps with other languages
limited their users. He added that even
if the app’s performance is good and ef-
ficient, it will attract only Arab users and
won’t join the international market; for the
more languages the app contains, the
more it reaches international users.
In regard to the standardsAl Ali considered
for the success or failure of Arab apps, he
said that, unfortunately, many Arab apps
are created with unclear vision; therefore,
they get stuck with the first problem a user
faces. He asserted that the ability of the
app to solve the problems that users may
face is one of the significant standards for
measuring the success of the app.
Al Ali believes that users are the best to
evaluate the app, and that the app devel-
oper may develop an application that he
finds simple and easy to use; however,
the user may find it difficult to use; this,
therefore, emphasizes the significance of
