In line with its efforts to support the UAE's wise leadership's vision to build a global, diversified and sustainable competitive economy based on knowledge, the Ministry of Economy launched an integrated and proactive e-services platform called the 'Basher' platform. By facilitating the establishment and the operations of businesses in the country, the platform is poised to play a huge role in attracting more foreign companies and investments to the UAE's markets. The platform achieves this by offering 14 services provided by 18 federal and local government entities, covering more than 1,200 economic activities, in partnership with the private sector. In short, the Basher platform enables investors to establish and conduct business in the UAE digitally within minutes from anywhere in the world.

The Ministry of Economy remains keen to welcome your opinions and ideas about Basher as we believe that your feedback will help us further improve it. In addition, we encourage you to share your personal experiences in using the platform, which has been designed to bring about a comprehensive change in the delivery of government services in a proactive manner, by harnessing the potential of innovative digital tools. The initiative enhances the concept of smart government and keeps pace with the requirements of the future economy and therefore, your participation will help us further understand the needs of aspiring investors, especially in the planning phase, such as surveying and data analysis, which are necessary to make appropriate decisions regarding business establishment within the country.
