Driven by a steadfast commitment to set new standards in
government performance, the UAE has embarked on transformative initiatives aimed
at refining work models, halving the time taken to deliver government services,
and pioneering the next wave of proactive and integrated services. It's all
part of a grand plan to make the UAE's government services among the best
worldwide.
Taking the helm of this exciting journey, the Ministry of
Health and Prevention (MoHAP) is right at the forefront, driving the "Zero
Government Bureaucracy Programme," an innovative initiative reflecting the
country's vision of cementing the UAE's stature as a beacon of government
service excellence.
The programme aims to do more than just improve customer
service; it's about pioneering proactive services, speeding up development
efforts, and making the customer journey simpler. With a focus on digital
solutions and personalised services, the goal is to lift the customer
experience, setting a new global benchmark for government services.
The Ministry is fervently pushing forward with the
"Government Bureaucracy Programme by revamping health services to enhance
their effectiveness and efficiency through digital innovations such as
artificial intelligence, the metaverse, and big data analytics.
These technologies enable precise analysis of health needs
as well as the provision of customised solutions that streamline efficiency,
speed up service delivery, and simplify the process of accessing health
services. Making the most of these not only boosts productivity but also
significantly raises customer satisfaction and happiness levels, which will
positively reflect on the community's public health, supporting the UAE's
overarching goals of improving the quality of life, well-being, and happiness
for all its citizens.
Looking ahead, and to ensure the availability of inclusive
health services for society members in line with the "We the UAE Vision
2031," MoHAP aspires to establish a comprehensive world-class health
system underpinned by innovative policies and the management of
digital-data-driven health programmes.
Therefore, the Ministry attaches utmost attention to
planning and managing health policies, legislation, research, and economics,
along with regulating the health sector through rigorous licencing, control,
and inspection of entities, professionals, and medical products. This
multifaceted approach not only integrates strategic, operational, and core
values but also fortifies the Ministry's capabilities to navigate towards a
healthier and more sustainable future for the UAE.
