Over the years, the authority has succeeded in building a team characterized by a high level of professional competence. Female members, in general, and Emirati women, in particular, have played a pivotal role in the journey of development and continuous improvement of work systems and services provided by the authority.
Aligned with the vision of our leadership, which recognizes gender balance as a cornerstone for societal harmony, the authority remains steadfast in its commitment to fostering gender equality within its organizational framework. With women comprising an impressive 55.8% of the FTA's workforce, the authority has consistently achieved and maintained a diverse and highly proficient team. Since its inception, the authority has diligently cultivated a workforce distinguished by exceptional competence and unwavering professionalism, encompassing both women and men.
We are proud of the significant contribution of women in the Authority's success journey. Women are employed in all disciplines and at all job levels, especially in effective leadership positions.
Statistics show that women have surpassed the 47% mark in occupying specialized and technical positions, constituting a substantial portion of the authority's workforce, a glowing testimony to their competence.
Since the time, the Women's Committee was set up in FTA, it has added a great deal of value to the authority's work with its distinct ideas and vision.. Through various initiatives, the Committee provides an opportunity for female employees to actively put forth their innovative ideas. Among them is the adoption of a well-defined plan to empower women, express their opinions, and enhance their participation in the development of the Authority's work systems, and enhance their capabilitiesMaintaining gender balance in the workplace is a priority area for the FTA. Our steadfast commitment aligns with the UAE principles for the next fifty years and the new methodology of government work.
