Animated film for DEWA’s app
In a video, the General Directorate of
Residency and Foreigners Affairs –
Dubai introduced its most prominent
smart services. Through the mGovern-
ment transition action team, the Direc-
torate sought to launch an array of ser-
vices via mobile phones.
The Directorate’s app is easy to
browse ensuring seamless completion
of transactions and information secu-
rity at the same time. The app also fea-
tures several languages and technical
support services.
The app team also ensured efficiency
and effectiveness in order to save time,
cost and effort.
Creativity was also a key point in the
app through offering solutions to prob-
lems in unprecedented ways so that
they may contribute in improving and
developing government services to ful-
fill customers’ needs and exceed their
expectations.
In an animated file, Dubai Electricity &
Water Authority (DEWA) showed the most
prominent services offered on its upgrad-
ed app, through which it aims to achieve
highest levels of customer satisfaction
and happiness. This comes as part of its
commitment to implement the mGovern-
ment initiative adopted by the Govern-
ment of Dubai.
The app has completely revamped ser-
vices and features such as applying for
service activation when moving in and
requesting the last bill when moving out.
Temporary service can be requested for
weddings and other occasions, in addition
to excerpts from His Excellence Sheikh
Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s
books Wamadat min Fikr (Flashes of
Thought) and My Vision.
Newly added features include account
management, GPS services and built-in
instructions; more than 150 new services
and features were added to enhance DE-
WA’s goal namely to ensure its customer
satisfaction and provide easy and fast
ways to complete their transactions an ap-
plications.
