to governments

ingapore, Norway and the UAE occupy the
top three places respectively among ten
countries in the use of digital government
services, according to a study conducted by
Accenture. The study showed that the con-
cept of digital government services includes
making electronic gateways available on the
Internet, accessing public services and using
digital channels and social media to commu-
nicate and interact with citizens.

Government deals proactively with
health, employment and education
Accenture conducted a comprehensive
review of digital governments in ten coun-
tries; namely, UAE, Brazil , Germany, India,
Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Saudi
Arabia, United Kingdom and United States
and used accumulative points from 1 to 10
based on three criteria: the experience of
providing services to citizens (50 per cent
of weight points), maturity of services (10
per cent of weight points) and citizen sat
-
isfaction (40 per cent of weight points).
