Dr. Mohammed Salem Al Mazroui, Secretary
General of the Federal National Council (FNC)
stressed the importance of the GCC Parlia
-
mentary Information Network in achieving in-
teractive link among parliaments in the GCC
countries in terms of information or direct in-
teraction among systems or individuals.
The remarks were made during a meeting
at the General Secretariat in Abu Dhabi be-
tween the Secretary General and the teams
working on implementing the network. The
work team represent IT departments in the
different GCC parliaments.
The GCC Parliamentary Information
Network will support GCC parliaments
through exchanging experiences and
providing information and researches.
It will have a significant importance in
light of the new technologies and the
available number of information ex
-
change networks and regional and in-
ternational parliamentary networks.
The network will be a communication
channel at the level of parliament speak-
ers, committees, divisions and delega-
tions in addition to staff at Secretariats
General.

College of Health Sciences and Applied
Technology High School won top places in
the second Cyber C3 competition.
Dr. Abdullatif Alshamsi. Managing Direc-
tor, Institute of Applied Technology said that
around 5,000 students competed for the
award to provide best projects using info-
graphics, in the areas of protection from cy-
bercrime, national awareness, electronic re-
sponsibility, communication skills and family
safety and health.
Sheikha Al Hammadi and Mahra Al Hamma-
di from Dalma Technical High School came
in the first place for their project in cyber
-
crime protection. Helem Qasoor and Yas-
min Abdul Ati from Fatima College of Health
Sciences came in second for their project in
health and safety.
