Minister of Interior, launched his official
Twitter account.
In his first Tweet posted on Twitter, His
Highness wrote: “Brothers and sisters, I
welcome you all. I would like to begin by
thanking everyone who congratulated
me on the new baby; I wish happiness
and success to everyone.”
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA)
signed a partnership agreement with Net-
work International, a leading payment solu-
tions provider in the Middle East, to enable
passengers travelling by RTA taxis to pay
their fares via Nol, debit and credit cards. The
announcement was made at a press confer-
ence by Dr. Yousef Al Ali, CEO, RTA’s Public
Transport Agency, Abdullah Al Madani, CEO,
RTA’s Corporate Technical Support Services
Sector and Bhairav Trivedi, CEO, Network
International, in the presence of senior offi

cials from both organisations. This significant
service would be implemented in phases
with the first phase already implemented.
“Nol, debit and credit cards of various types
from all around the world can be used to pay
the taxi fares to smoothly and easily facilitate
payment without the trouble of finding ATMs,
in case cash is not in hand,” Dr. Al Ali said.

launched the Ministry’s official
website which will be the au-
thorized source for information
related to the Ministry. It will also
be an interactive channel to com-
municate with the public.
The new website provides infor-
mation about the different projects
the Ministry is carrying out in addi-
tion to its services in the areas of
construction, buildings and infra-
structure.
Al Nuaimi noted that soon, members
of the society, customers and employ-
ees can express their opinions about the
services offered by the Ministry and its new
website. The Ministry has prepared a survey
to measure users’ satisfaction about the new
website and ask their suggestions and re-
marks to develop the website and eServices.
