to fulfil mGovernment requirements. The aim is to ensure government
services are accessible around the clock in an easy, efficient and
transparent manner to meet public expectations and provide quality
services to UAE citizens and residents in line with the UAE Vision
2021. 260 projects are competing in the Award, 175 of which are na-
tional contributions from the UAE.
We have sought opinions and expectations of information security ex-
perts regarding the security of mobile applications which is a goal for
hackers and malwares in 2014 due to the fact that there are currently
more than two billion devices around the world.
In an exclusive interview with Engineer Meshaal Abdullah Hussein,
Director of TRA’s mGovernment Innovation Centre, he talks about the
Centre which aims to provide mGovernment with Emirati talents and
promote the culture of entrepreneurship. It also encourages young
people and app developers to pursue their own innovations and pro-
vides them with latest updates in this field.
The Centre is a rich environment and a platform to implement latest
technologies, test applications and encourage and sponsor smart in-
novations. The Centre serves government and private entities and
university students through hands-on workshops. It also reaches nor-
mal users through online virtual lessons.
You’ll also find a number of local and international reports and news
in various areas such as technology, ICT and mobile apps in addition
to latest mGovernemtn applications.
