Emirates NBD has launched smart
BUSINESS app for iPhones to be the
first bank to offer mobile phone app
for businesses and corporates.
Through the app, businesses and
corporates can access their ac-
counts via iPhones and iPads in a
convenient and secure way. the app
allows customers to prepare and
process their financial transactions,
view their accounts balances and
data as well as track status of their
current transactions.
The app can be used through iPhones
and iPad devices. It provides alterna-
tive platform to use smart business
services, and customers can use it
anywhere.

In its special report on “Smart
Government”, IDC considered
that Smart City initiative is not

city’s economic growth, which
again requires concerted efforts
to implement the strategy, cul-
ture and process as well as the
technology infrastructure and
usage of data.
The report underlined that pub-
lic and private leaders as well
as academic and civil commu-
nity must collaborate in order to
transform aspirations into reality,
and thus build a smart city, not-
ing that a similar drive towards
Smarter City status is already
seen in Dubai.
