111,000 phone calls

111,470 phone calls were made from inside and out-

side the UAE using the toll number and received by

the call center at Dubai Health Authority (DHA) in the

first half of 2015.

Average waiting time per call was six seconds, a sig-

nificantly very short period given the high volume and

number of calls received by the call center.

1500 “Well Done” cards

Employees at ministries and federal entities have exchanged over

1500 “Well Done” cards through FAHR app in Q1 2015, 250 of

which were between the FAHR employees.

600,000 customers of green bill

602,758 people have used the green bill, until 31 July

2015, after the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority

(DEWA) has cancelled paper bills and began relying

completely on digital (or green) bills, as of Q1 2015.

About 83% of DEWA total customers switched to the

Green Bill system.

AED 21 billion in new investments

AED 21 billion is expected to be spent on

new investments in the education sector in

the UAE by 2020, due to the UAE’s efforts

to develop knowledge-based economy and

spread the culture of smart learning, which

has become a key attraction factor for Islam-

ic investment funds from inside and outside

the UAE.

4.5 million transactions

A total of 4.5 million transactions were completed by Dubai

Customs during the first half of 2015, a 4.57% increase com-

pared to the same period in 2014.

The transactions completed by Dubai Customs for its custom-

ers included 19 main services, through 23 land, sea and air

customs centers throughout the emirate of Dubai.
