

1313 students at innovation camp
The innovation camp, organized by the Telecommunications
Regulatory Authority (TRA) attracted a total of 1313 students
from all over the UAE.
The camp targets students aged 6-17 years old, by offering
25 various activities based on technical and IT skills. Other
activities focus on enhancing the culture of innovation and
21st century skills in communication, leadership and manage-
ment.
150 services on DEWA app
The Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA)
app offers 150 services and features that meet
the needs of its users around the clock, including
individuals, consultants, suppliers, government
entities, and job seekers.
1 million browsing per month
The Federal Authority for Government Hu-
man Resources (FAHR) app was browsed
over 1 million times per month by federal
government employees and customers.
The app offers 26 main and sub-services,
notably Bayanati, the HR management in-
formation system, Ma’arif initiative for the
federal government’s preferred training pro-
viders, Imtiyazat, the discount program for
federal government employees, legal advice
requests program and federal government
employees network.
239,000 downloads
The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA)
said that 239,66 people have downloaded its mo-
bile app “Wojhati” (My Destination) in the first half
of 2015, up 228% from 72,704 downloads in the
first half of 2014. This comes in framework of RTA’s
efforts to achieve maximum customer satisfaction,
and in line with the goals of Dubai government to
provide the best technology-based services for the
convenience of the public.
38,000 procedures
Employees of ministries and federal entities have completed 38,000
procedures in Q1 2015, through the self-help system Bayanati, the
human resources management information system.
The Ministry of Labor had the lion’s share with a total of 8500 com-
pleted procedures. The system is effective at 14 ministries and 16
independent federal entities.
