on a consumer-
based mobile app
The Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activi-
ties Department (IACAD) – Dubai, has
launched a package of smart applica-
tions in a bid to improve the quality of
services offered to the public, and in
line with its keenness to provide vari-
ous channels to access the different
services. IACAD continues to improve
and developed the services offered to
the public through optimum use of ad-
vanced technologies to achieve sus-
tainable customer satisfaction.
During the first phase of transforming
its services into smart services, IAC-
AD worked on making such services
conveniently available to the public
around the clock by launching three
smartphone apps, in addition to the
smart services platform, website and
social media accounts (Twitter, Face-
book, Instagram).
One of the new smart apps is the
“Emirates Charity” app that offers a
safe and efficient 24/7 platform to the
public to donate across various char-
ity areas, including orphan sponsor-
ship, building mosques, and drilling
wells, in addition to a list of charity
societies licenses in Dubai.
IACAD’s app for smart services en-
ables users to obtain IACAD’s key
services such as searching for a
mosque, inquiring about prayer times,
requesting a fatwa, viewing the fatwa
archive, viewing the Friday sermon,
locating the Qibla direction, and many
other services and features found on
the website.
The “Sheikh Maktoum Mus’haf” (or
Sheikh Maktoum’s Edition of the Holy
Quran) app consists of many features
such as synchronization between all
available platforms from the website
and smart devices, in addition to the
tafsir (interpretation) of the Quran,
translating its meanings and readings
in the voices of the most prominent
reciters in the Islamic world.
ADNOC Distribution has launched its
free-to-download, consumer-orientat-
ed mobile app available now for iOS
and Android devices.
With a user-friendly design and a va-
riety of useful functionalities, the app
gives fast access to UAE residents
and visitors to reach the nearest AD-
NOC service station, Salama vehicle
inspection centre, Autoserv, Oasis 365
or Rahal card service centre.
Featuring location-based services
and an easy-to-navigate map for re-
tail services, outlets and facilities, the
app displays relevant information near
to the consumer, wherever they are.
With comprehensive, up-to-date infor-
mation, listings, search and filters, 24h
‘contact us’ services, options to favou-
rite most popular locations and share
experiences, alongside latest updates
and promotions, the app accompanies
and complements the company’s re-
cently rebranded website.
ADNOC Distribution’s mobile app and
website will soon be further support-
ed by a full spectrum of social media
channels. With more product devel-
opment in the pipeline, the company
is set to constantly expand its digital
footprint.
ADNOC Distribution invites custom-
ers, suppliers and general public to
download the app free of charge and
stay in touch with the latest informa-
tion on all its products and services.
