Dubai Police app supports French, Russian and Chinese
Apps
The General Department of Smart Services
launched the new update for Dubai Police Ap-
plication, which is called “Accidents Now”. The
public would be able to locate traffic accidents
and congestion areas on the streets of Dubai,
hence, avoid traffic jams resulting from such in-
cidents and take alternative routes.
Dubai Police called on the public to take ad-
vantage of this service, which would save
them time and help them avoid traffic jams and
congested roads resulting from accidents and
consider alternative routes. This Service is con-
nected to Dubai Police Operation Room; there-
fore, places of accidents would be displayed in
the form of an icon on the map in real time.

The Dubai Police Smart Services Depart-
ment supported its smartphone apps with
French, Russian and Chinese in addition
to English and Arabic. Users can browse
the app and use its services in all the
above languages.
The new languages will allow larger
groups of the public to have access to the
offered services, which were designed to
be user-friendly and save time and effort.
Dubai Police app offers 79 services. It is a
custom app that allows users to keep up-
dated on their latest traffic violations.
The Dubai Police smart services depart-
ment launched the violations payment in
installments service in collaboration with
Emirates NBD through Dubai police smart
apps. Users can now pay their traffic vio-
lations faster and more efficiently through
the violations payment in installments ser-
vice available to Emirates NBD credit card
holders without interest over three, six or
twelve months.
Dubai Police called upon the public to ben-
efit from this service which will significantly
contribute in facilitating violations pay-
ment, making it faster and more efficient.
This payment method is also more conve-
nient as Emirates NBD clients can down-
load the app, log in the violations payment
service and select the installments pay-
ment term that suits them. The service re-
quires the traffic violation amounts not to
be less 500 dirhams.
The smart services department further
developed its smartphones app to allow
users to review an electronic copy of their
national ID, driver’s license and vehicle
registration. The updated app also allows
review of violations amounts and paying
them through the app.
Through this feature, users are now able
to be informed of the latest updates of their
traffic violations, expiry of license date and
identifying wanted and suspicious persons
as additional feature on Google Glass.
The update allows users to keep an elec-
tronic copy of their national ID, driver’s
license and vehicle registration on their
smartphones.
The new update is one the most promi-
nent services Dubai Police has succeeded
so far in transforming into a smart service
on smartphones. The updated service
allows users to keep electronic copies
of their national ID, driver’s license, ve-
hicle registration and other cards deemed
personal documents that are necessary
to complete official transactions. It also
helps users in situations where policemen
need to see these documents, such as in
road accidents. In such case, granted us-
ers downloaded the Dubai Police app on
their smart devices, they can sign in to
their mobile “My Identity” account which
will display the user’s personal data from
e-cards, number of vehicles registered in
user’s name, traffic violations and all elec-
tronic transactions made to Dubai Police
in his personal folder.
These new apps are considerate to the
personal circumstances of the public
such as forgetting such documents. This
emphasizes the Dubai Police’s concern
and care in offering services that lead to
people’s satisfaction. This comes as part
of its vision, mission and strategic plan to
exceed the Dubai Government’s expecta-
tions in making the services offered a di-
rect cause of people’s happiness.
