64% of respondents in a survey conducted
by the Emirates Identity Authority (Emirates
ID) last month confirmed they were well
aware of the diverse types of online services
provided by Emirates ID via its website and
social media channels.
4723 individuals participated in the poll
which asked the question, “How much are
you aware of Emirates ID’s online servic-
es?” 43% of respondents answered saying
they are well aware of these services, 21%
said they are somewhat aware of the ser-
vices, 27% said they are not aware of the
online services provided by Emirates ID and
9% answered “neutral”.
The Abu Dhabi Technology Development
Committee (TDC) called upon budding in-
novators and creators in the UAE to sign
up on
to participate in the
INNOVATOR show. The show will act as a
platform enabling them to showcase their
inventions and innovations across various
sciences, technology and engineering fields
and to compete over winning six develop-
ment funds.
INNOVATOR seeks to encourage and inspire
the innovation culture among Emiratis.
The INNOVATOR show is an annual event
that showcases the do-it-yourself (DIY) inno-
vations and sheds lights on the role of local
innovators as role models to be followed. It
also celebrates the efforts of all supporters
of establishing the innovation culture in the
UAE.

Dubai Courts
Joins “My E-Identity” Service
The Dubai Courts has joined the ‘My
E-Identity’ service offered by the Dubai
Smart Government Department. The
e-identity service allows unified login
details for accessing integrated ser-
vices offered by government entities
in Dubai and for interaction with them
via smart phones or the internet us-
ing the smart identity card issued by
the Emirates Identity Authority. Eleven
entities have joined the service so far.
Dubai Courts customers can now sign
up for the service online to obtain a
single user name and password spe-
cific to their e-identity. This will give
them access to a host of services,
such as the notary services, regis-
tration of cases and online tracking
of cases, in addition to the other ser-
vices rendered by other government
entities that are part of the service.
The Department provided 24 e-kiosks
to sign up for the service throughout
the emirate of Dubai.
