fic, security and community services.
The video demonstrates a number of
traffic services offered by Dubai Police.
Users can inquire and pay all traffic
fines issued on your vehicle or driving
license with complete details. The traf-
fic wallet feature allows users to save
their vehicle details for easier inquiries
in the future. Users can now obtain
traffic clearance certificate and receive
it directly through their email without
the need to visit the traffic department.
Users can now obtain a good conduct
certificate via email in a few steps and
within 10 minutes without any attach-
ments or a visit to a police station.
You can now book your appointments
online at your convenience at the near-
est police station through the fast track
service. Employees will be waiting
for you to complete your transactions
quickly without having you to stand in
queues.
In an interview posted on YouTube, Lieu-
tenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim,
Deputy Chairman of the Dubai Police
and General Security said that the smart
government offers more than just ser-
vices on smartphones. He added that the
smart government is a full-scale institution
whose goal is to achieve happiness and
satisfaction of citizens and residents alike.
Tamim continued saying that the govern-
ment seeks to provide nationals and resi-
dents with security, stability and welfare
on its territory. It also seeks to address
and overcome issues such as unemploy-
ment, pushing society to be productive.
He added that as described by His High-
ness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al
Maktoum, UAE Vice-President and Prime
Minister and Ruler of Dubai, the smart
government seeks to achieve top ranks
across various fields. Dubai has always
been a pioneer in offering smart services.
One of the goals of the smart government
is to bring service to the citizen and not the
other way around. It is a slogan adopted
by Dubai 10 years ago.
