The 'Made in
the Emirates' Mark is a unified national quality mark, which aims to increase
consumer confidence in UAE-made products. It indicates that products comply
with national quality and safety standards, which boosts their competitiveness
in international markets. Manufacturers can obtain the mark for a three-year
period from the date of application.
Objectives:

Promote the 'Made in the Emirates' mark in conjunction with the ministry
launch.
•
Raise awareness among stakeholders and the public about the mark.
•
Enhance the competitiveness of UAE-made products on the local, regional, and
international levels.
•
Highlight local products that meet specifications, standards, and production
quality requirements.
Outcome
The views of the target groups have been taken, and some fruitful observations have been applied in future improvement plans
This communication channel exists, investors and project owners can share details on their projects through investments@moiat.gov.ae and the platform "Make it in the Emirates"
The ongoing development of the updated "Make it in the Emirates" platform, will provide the investor with details on available land and facilities for industries through an interactive map
The ministry is working with several stakeholders to reduce the cost of registering and establishing an industrial company and also reduce provide competitive financing solutions
The ministry is working on developing investment opportunities through a value chain assessment study. Investments relevant to these opportunities will be identified and engaged
Investments opportunities are being developed and these will be available for potential investors on the platform "Make it in the Emirates"
We work with partner incubators such as HUB71 to incubate the ideas from innovators
