As part of the UAE government's directions to develop public services and achieve high quality for community members in accordance with the UAE Vision. And within MoHAP's efforts to provide comprehensive and integrated healthcare services and implement the smart government initiative. The Ministry of health and Prevention has launched the new updated version of the smart patient portal dubbed "SHEFAA'' which is considered the digital communication channel between patients and service providers. The platform offers smart treatment services and notifications on the updates of the patient's file as well as health education and guidance, questionnaires and opinion polls, E-payment, vital signs, live chat, lab test reports, and results
Objectives
Through this consultation, the Ministry of Health and Prevention aims to measure public awareness of the digital platform SHEFAA and the satisfaction of it, as well as to monitor development proposals and opinions in this regard
Outcome
After reviewing the public opinions and proposals, the following procedures have been implemented:
- More data has been added with medical reports such as the discharge summery and the radiology report.
- The technical problem of choosing a specific date or time period has been resolved
- Work is in progress to redesign the appointment booking model through a SHEFFA platform.
- Continue awareness campaigns on SHEFFA platform across different media channels.
