Mobile numberThe UAE annually celebrates the World Teachers’ Day, which falls on October 5th every year, in appreciation of teachers’ position and the role they play in the social and intellectual building process for future generations.
The Ministry of Education (MoE) is keen on streamlining and celebrating the Teachers’ Day in view of the position of teachers in the society and the important role they play in raising children and preparing them for the future, considering that teachers are a main pillar in shaping the features of the future.
Teachers deserve the respect of societies for their efforts and achievements as well as their influential role in refining students’ skills and applying educational policies, plans and programs accurately and honestly. This can be touched in the educational field and at the levels of our students in the Emirati School.
Based on this, the MoE carried out a brainstorming workshop to discuss how to streamline the World Teachers’ Day and determine the most important media materials that will be worked on to celebrate this event.
Through the brainstorming workshop, the MoE aims to come up with distinct ideas about how to celebrate Teachers’ Day, considering that teachers are a fundamental pillar in the process of development of the UAE education system. These ideas should reflect gratitude for teachers’ steadfast and ongoing efforts.
The Ministry of Education has launched ‘My Teacher Deserves’ competition marking the celebration of the World Teachers’ Day and invited students to participate in it by submitting a post, picture, drawing or video to be attached to #My Teacher_ Deserves to express their thanks to teachers.
A circular has been sent to schools to streamline virtual activities or student work to thank teachers.
