Mother is the source of giving and a breeding ground for lofty values and maker of generations and heroes. Their considerable efforts and sacrifices help nations thrive and prosper. They also help life brighten and shine with the light of hope.

Her role is tangible, and her fingerprint is brilliant over time, and in line with the teachings of our religion that honour the Mother and in conformity with our values that raise the status of the Emirati women as they receive unwavering support from the UAE prudent leadership who has streamlined all means possible for them to succeed and enabled them to play their role to the fullest like a mother and a worker. 

This is in continuation of the journey first launched by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may Allah rest his soul in peace, who raised the Mother's status and appreciated her sacrifices.

On the occasion of Emirati Women's Day, we congratulate them for their devotion to creating an exemplary family and great generations of men and women who contribute substantially to the country's development.

We thank the Mother of the Nation, Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, for her exceptional care so that the Emirati Mother can play her role towards her family, society and nation.
