Technology has played a major role in improving human prosperity, through assistance in developing new strategies to cope with the challenges facing people. Nevertheless, perhaps the concepts related to the impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution on the future of the judicial expert profession, particularly in the financial, engineering and accounting professions, has not been clear so far. Industry 4.0 is considered to be the subsequent wave of industrialization which involves not only automation and robots, but also community improvement by enabling mankind to undertake activities that had been complicated earlier. On the other hand, the judicial expert is an individual who has an exceptional knowledge of regulating evidences in the judicial system in general.
As an eyewitness judicial expert, I may well expect that the Fourth Industrial Revolution will play an important role in the basic professions provided for in Law No. (7) of 2012  such as engineering, accounting and banking. Accounting, for instance, will help Industry 4.0 in creating value through providing accountants with the opportunity of using technologies such as Software as a Service (SAAS) which would enable them to access individual applications (Akhter, 2019). Thus, judicial experts will be able to effectively access data, particularly the financial statements of an organization without actually having to go to the companies to review the documents that would not be needed to be provided.

Moreover, the Fourth Industrial Revolution will also impact accounting through adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) which will be necessary to enhance the ability of accountants to interact with their clients, according to Akhter, 2019. In addition, blockchain, which includes documentation of digital transactions, is significantly improving accountants’ abilities because such technology assists in providing data (Akhter, 2019). Therefore, it is predicted that blockchain will create a revolution in judicial proceedings because perpetrators will not be able to change the details of their records.

In Finance, adoption of technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution shall also be important to the finance judicial experts because it will improve their ability to provide the appropriate value proposition and customer service to their clients (Medcraft 2017). For instance, by analyzing Big Data, experts in financial affairs will be able to effectively understand the defendants’ behavior, hence providing appropriate information about them to the court.
In engineering, Industry 4.0 shall impact experts by influencing them to transform the nature of their activities and by influencing professionals to participate in the design of programs (Hofmeyr, 2018). For instance, automation of activities in engineering plays an important role in improving the efficiency of the processes of production of large quantities of building materials in a short period of time, whereas the use of 3D printing is vital for enabling the professionals to standardize the elements of the produced building materials. Through the use of such technology, specifically in the cases related to the issues of non-implementation according to the contractual specifications among litigants, engineering experts will be able to infer by using highly efficient evidences.
