The Social Security enhances the privileges offered by the country to its citizens and their families. In fact, the Emirati constitution has recognized and included clauses about providing care to the persons who are unable to take care of themselves against natural and occupational hazards, including diseases, disability, and unemployment through the laws of pension and social assistance. 

The Federal Law No. (7) of 1999 of pension and social security and its amendments obliged all of the employers in the government and private sectors to register their UAE national employees that are subject to the provisions of the Law. The employers are required to register their employees and to settle their contributions and accordingly the relevant fines and penalties in case of late contribution payments.
