H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum - Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai announced the National Policy for Senior Citizens, which focuses on improving the quality of retirees’ life and ensuring their effective participation in society. GPSSA confirmed that such declaration reflects the great concern of our wise government for retirees. GPSSA also expressed its appreciation for the role of government in serving the development process in the UAE. 

The aforementioned policy will serve as a momentum for all plans aimed at enhancing the attendance of retirees in strategies and programs of all bodies concerned with retirees' affairs in the UAE, including GPSSA, which will play its part with regard to this policy.
