The Judiciary is considered one of the main pillars of our constitutional structure. It has achieved continuous progress that is directly related to the continuous development of our State. It has reflected the essence of The Emirate civilization as a pure Arab civilization in its core, by means of the enormous amount of judicial decisions and innovated legal jurisprudence that it has issued, which have been regarded as the National Safeguard to rights and freedoms. Also by means of the principles and judicial rules that have been stipulated to assert the correct application of law in various disputes. This has granted our Judiciary the ability to trans pass the limits of regionalism to the global level, and thus become one of the globally leading judicial bodies.

To this end, the Ministry of Justice has prioritized the concept of “Judicial System Efficiency”, when setting plans and strategies, guided by the vision of our wise leadership which continuously aims to be global pioneers, especially regarding the Rule of Law Index, and achieving the goals of our National Vision 2021.

Therefore, MOJ has initiated a comprehensive policy for the justice sector in the United Arab Emirates based on three main pillars, the first of which is the Usage of Technology to facilitate access of litigants to the judicial system. The second of which is Training and Qualifying members of the Judiciary, the third is the dissemination of legal culture and judicial data to litigants and partners.

On the other hand, MOJ has always been keen to implement policies and strategies targeting happiness of customers and employees, quick integrated justice accomplished by the highest standards of performance, which necessarily leads to the achievement of our objective of having an innovated comprehensive judicial system in the UAE.
