“MARSAD" is the first initiative of its kind, which targets sports statistics and data of the UAE sports sector. It falls in line with the wise directives of our visionary government to look ahead to the future and the intelligent transformation of the work of government institutions and departments. This initiative establishes practical and scientific alignment with global thought in dealing with business and sports activities. It also aims is to reach a solid base huge sports data to help sports sector officials make the perfect decision to develop an accurate and well - defined scientific identity for the UAE sports.

 At the beginning of this year , We , in the General Authority of Sport , announced the launch of our initiative " MARSAD" , in line with the Year of Tolerance , which was established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan , the founder of the United Arab Emirates , to be a way of life and a code of behavior , Indeed , sport - with its values , principles and ethical rules - is a powerful motivator in establishing the values of tolerance in our daily lives .

 The UAE was one of the pioneering countries to have strategically targeted smart systems in institutional transactions and setting up digital platforms due to the strong faith of our leaders and Visionary government to provide the best technical and technological services in all fields and sectors.

Accordingly, we work together with our partners of success to develop the sports Sector and begin a new era whose features are determined through the foundations of strategic planning, scientific methodology, institutional systems, strategic partnerships and management aligned with goals - an era that is consistent with the global transformations in sports practice - an era that faces all the challenges of the future with science, work, willpower and hunger to succeed.

Therefore, we targeted the launch of “MARSAD" in order to collect the sports data as figures and statistics are one of the important foundations of strategic building and devising plans of sports success in a way that aims at achieving global and Olympic sports achievements  .
