The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) adopts a people-centric approach, launching a series of initiatives designed to streamline services and deliver a seamless customer experience. These efforts align perfectly with the second phase of the Zero Government Bureaucracy programme.
Through this approach, the Ministry seeks to provide fast, simple, and high-impact health services that improve quality of life and boost the nation's global competitiveness.
This phase has kicked off with a comprehensive roadmap focused on redesigning the licensing and accreditation services for healthcare professionals and facilities. That means fewer steps, simpler requirements, smarter digital tools, and everything in one place, making it faster, cheaper, and easier for people to get what they need.
Embracing a participatory design framework, MoHAP engaged cross-functional teams, strategic partners, healthcare professionals, community members, and service users in the redesign process. This is to ensure that the reimagined services reflect the real needs and aspirations of users and deliver tangible outcomes.
In the process, we have prioritised measuring customer satisfaction through surveys and recognised individuals, customers, employees, and community members whose innovative ideas contributed to the success of the enhancements.
We are proud of what has been achieved in the first and second phases of the zero-bureaucracy journey and look forward to launching additional service packages that further enhance MoHAP's role in supporting sustainable development, improve customer satisfaction, and deliver a truly human-centric government healthcare experience.
Driven by the UAE's vision for comprehensive digital transformation, the Zero Government Bureaucracy programme has become a gateway to designing proactive services that truly reflect users' needs and expectations. It paves the way for achieving the wise leadership's goal of turning government services into a source of ease, trust, and optimism."
