Driven by its firm belief in the importance of partnership with customers in designing and developing government services, the Ministry of Finance is redoubling its efforts to implement the "Zero Government Bureaucracy" programme launched by the UAE government.
The programme aims to simplify and reduce procedures, foster a business-friendly environment that attracts talent, improves quality of life, and reduces unnecessary burdens. It represents a significant step toward achieving the vision of "We the UAE 2031" and the "UAE Centennial 2071" plan.
The Ministry of Finance is fully convinced that people are fundamental to the design and development of government services. Accordingly, it prioritizes customer needs and is committed to delivering user-friendly and effective services that meet their expectations.
In line with this commitment, the Ministry launched the Customer Councils initiative last April to collect feedback and insights directly from users regarding the services offered, enhance communication with customers, and empower them to play an active role in the continuous development of government services.
To effectively implement the "Zero Government Bureaucracy" programme, the Ministry of Finance not only re-engineers government services but also leverages cutting-edge digital technologies to analyse customer needs, measure their experiences, and deliver services more efficiently.
By fostering a collaborative approach between the Ministry and its customers and facilitating the exchange of ideas to improve and develop services, the programme marks a significant transformation in government procedures. It reduces the burdens on companies and individuals in terms of time, effort, and resources while supporting sustainable development efforts.
The 'Zero Government Bureaucracy programme has become a transformative model for simplifying, accelerating, and enhancing government processes. It prioritizes human-centred approaches within the UAE's policy framework, establishing a new standard for governmental operations that are adaptable and responsive to change. By leveraging cutting-edge technology and innovative practices, this programme will significantly improve governmental efficiency and service quality. It will also pave the way for a thriving future for all citizens and residents, ensuring their access to the finest government services available."
The success of this programme hinges on the collaborative efforts of government agencies, the private sector, and the broader community. We are confident that through collective teamwork, we will not only achieve the programme's objectives but also set a benchmark for others to follow. This cooperative and participatory approach bolsters our country's competitiveness and global stature, positioning the UAE as a paragon of excellence in government service delivery, something which will positively reflect on the quality of life and well-being in the UAE.
