In March of each year, the UAE celebrates Reading Month, a time of knowledge, passion, and growth. This month sees the launch of various reading initiatives aimed at all segments of society, with the goal of embedding reading as a sustainable communal approach. At the Emirates Schools Establishment, we conclude each academic year during Reading Month, a journey centered around reading, exploration, and knowledge, where our students are the heroes, aiming to empower the generations of the UAE.

As part of these national efforts, the Establishment has prepared a variety of reading events and programs to enhance reading among our students and make it a sustainable lifestyle for them. Through these programs, we target all our students in government schools, aligning with the country's trends in reading by enhancing our students' reading practices, making them effective contributors to achieving our country's objectives in this field.

The Establishment's reading agenda throughout the year includes thousands of reading initiatives and events, ranging from internal events to collaborations with other government entities in their various reading and cultural activities in different regions of the country.

The Establishment has also selected hundreds of reading clubs in government schools, along with hundreds of specialized reading teams comprising teachers, aiming to provide the necessary support for all our reading initiatives in our government schools. The efforts of the Emirates Schools Establishment complement those of all national institutions in the field of reading, with our students participating in their activities. We look forward to collaborating with all entities to achieve our common goals in the reading field.

Reading is a fundamental component of our students' educational journey and is a cornerstone in preparing them for the future, equipping them with knowledge in its various forms, as reading generations are necessarily successful.
