The Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), through its novel educational model places significant emphasis on a critical aspect of strategic partnerships, as underscored by one of its fundamental strategic pillars: integration

HCT has broadened the scope of partnerships to encompass a collaborative approach in managing the educational process known as "professional apprenticeships". This approach establishes a crucial link between three key components - academic learning, practical hands-on experience, and engagement with employers. The ultimate goal is to produce highly skilled graduates who are well-aligned with the demands of the labor market, thereby contributing to the enhancement of Emiratization rates in key sectors

solidify its commitment to this new approach of its strategic partnership model, HCT has taken dedicated steps to align the launch of its 2023/2024 strategy with the signing of cooperative agreements with 12 strategic partners from government, industry, and private institutions. The strategic partners represent vital sectors, such as healthcare, education, energy, services, retail, security, and finance These partnerships are set to offer students a total of 4,053 job opportunities and 4,200 training prospects over a span of five years

Furthermore, they will assist HCT to establish specialized workshops and cutting-edge laboratories dedicated to innovation, emerging technologies, industrial solutions, and financial technology. These collaborations will also involve the development of professional programs and certifications; support for applied student projects and research initiatives; and joint participation in various events and activities

Today, HCT is crafting a fresh paradigm for strategic partnerships, with the overarching goal of creating better, future prospects for its students and graduates
