As part of its ongoing efforts to develop the job market in the UAE, increase its attractiveness to global talents, and ensure workers' wellbeing, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has developed an integrated strategy, designed to advance the local job market to the top global ranks. The Ministry launched the Emirates Labour Market Award in 2023, building on the robust partnership between the public and private sectors. The award aims to celebrate the efforts of establishments and business service centers operating in the UAE, who have prioritised supporting and upskilling their employees, while also honouring outstanding workers across various economic sectors. The award holds special significance, being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, further enhancing its leading role in advancing the job market's ambitions for development and the UAE's economic vision. The Emirates Labour Market Award opened its registration on 1 June 2023, and has since recorded notable interest from various establishments, workers and business service centers across its main categories and subcategories. The registration will remain open via until 31 August, after which the evaluation process will kick off in September, with the award ceremony scheduled for November. The Award has also attracted many leading companies for sponsorship. This reflects the strong sense of social responsibility among companies across the UAE and the confidence they have in the government's policies and directives, which have always consolidated our economic prosperity
