Government Service Bus (GSB) is a system that allows government entities to exchange data smoothly and provide their services in a coherent, integrated way that serves the customer's need to avail government's services without having to go from one government entity to another.
GSB onboarding service is provided to government entities by the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA).

Federal Decree Law No. 45 of 2021 Regarding the Protection of Personal Data, also known as the Personal Data Protection Law constitutes an integrated framework to ensure the confidentiality of information and protect the privacy of individuals in the UAE. It provides a proper governance for data management and protection, and defines the rights and duties of all parties concerned.

The Federal Network (FEDnet) is TDRA’s initiative that aims to provide a technical infrastructure that enhances and improves the customer experience within the digital government sector. FEDnet provides several services to government entities, including cloud infrastructure platform, backup as a service, disaster recovery as a service, virtual data center, private dedicated connectivity, public virtual connectivity, G2G network access,
high-performance dedicated internet access, email as a service, and hosted communication services.
The UAE promotes digital inclusion by making government services accessible and easy to use for all members of society, including senior citizens, People of Determination, women, children and people with limited digital skills.
Through its National Policy for Digital Accessibility and various digital inclusion initiatives, the UAE works to improve the accessibility and usability of websites, mobile applications and digital services.
In addition, government service centres offer on-site assistance to individuals who need support accessing or completing digital transactions. The UAE also encourages public participation in designing and improving government services through digital platforms and consultation initiatives.
These efforts aim to bridge the digital divide and ensure that everyone can benefit from the UAE's digital transformation.
