The platform’s launch

On 24 May 2011, H. H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, launched U.ae as a single window that provides easy access to all government services and information from federal and local entities, serving individuals, visitors and businesses.

The platform reflects His Highness’s vision that a one-stop shop for all UAE government services and information strengthens the UAE’s competitiveness, enhances communication with the community, and improves the efficiency of government work.

The platform stands as the official online presence of the UAE Government, bringing together federal and local services alongside comprehensive information about the country.

The platform aims to contribute in achieving the UAE Vision 2031 by providing a central channel for comprehensive information and government services, enabling users to accomplish their transactions through a unified platform.
