Ministry of Interior exhibits its
innovative thoughts
Ministry of Interior exhibited in the
Government Achievement Exhibition
many initiatives and projects that reflect
the personnel creativity and innovation
in order to enhance UAE competitiveness
in reduction of time and effort in services
provided to the customers.
Lt. Gen. Saif Abdulla, Undersecretary of
Ministry of Interior said that the Ministry
is keen to achieve the vision of the Higher
Leadership in order to bring happiness for
people and to achieve the highest levels
internationally and UAE vision 2021.
He indicated that the Ministry of Interior
is also keen to use the latest IT smart
applications to improve the service levels
rendered to the customers through
development of many services and projects
and transformation into smart services.
The Undersecretary considered Dubai
International Government Achievement
Exhibition an annual important event and
opportunity to the Ministry of Interior to
exhibit its initiatives and projects that help
provide high quality services based upon
the highest international standards.
Dubai Customs exhibits its smart
initiative
Dubai Customs exhibited in Dubai
International Government Achievement
Exhibition a package of innovative smart
initiatives.
Ahmad Mahbob Mosab, Dubai Customs
Director said that Dubai Customs seeks
to develop and use the latest IT smart
applications in order to improve the
services and facilities provided to the
customers. He also indicated that the
Customs developed in 2015 new services
and facilities most importantly the virtual
passage initiative for transport of goods
between customs points in Dubai. It also
launched the approved economic operator
program which provides supply chain
partners with many benefits and support
the ability to access markets.
Dubai Customs also exhibited a number
of smart initiatives including electronic
customs cases system that has been
developed to help customers to accomplish
the customs cases as soon as possible and
with no effort and time.
Dubai Customs shed light on the initiative
of smart work space that is intended to
bring happiness for customers through
simplifying and facilitating customs
declaration process saving time and
effort reducing period of filling customs
declaration from 20-15 minutes into 5-1
minutes.
Dubai Customs also shed light on the
initiative of Smart Inspection that help
facilitate and expedite the filed inspection
in different customs points.

Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services
exhibited a package of smart services
in Dubai International Government
Achievement Exhibition 2016. Dubai
Government Excellence Program in
General Secretariat of Executive Council
organized the biggest event in Dubai
International Convention & Exhibition
Center.
Khaifa bin Dari, CEO of Dubai Corporation
explained that the corporation seeks to
achieve the best results in a strategic vision
area, international standards, IT integration
and smart application that are a hub for
aspiration and innovation for Dubai in
particular and for the region in general.
Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services
shall enter three more specialized vehicles
in service this year which are amphibian,
land auto-responder and infection control
unit.
