Training Programs
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al
Maktoum also visited the stand of General
Directorate of Civil Defense andwas briefed
by the Director-General Rashid Thani Al
Matroushi about the training programs
conducted especially for youth of both
genders. It is intended in order to acquire
youth a preliminary knowledge of the
civil defense operations of fire protection,
rescue and accidents in houses, factories,
markets and other places.
Active City
In the stand of Dubai Electricity and Water
Authority DEWA, HH Sheikh Mohammed
bin Rashid Al Maktoum was briefed by
Eng. Moahmmed Al Tayer, Managing
Director and CEO about the most
important achievements made by DEWA
in innovation and smart transformation for
making Dubai a smart city which HH UAE
Vice –President and Prime Minister has
previously launched in order to empower
and enhance the experience of safe and
active city and to ensure DEWA efforts
through its three initiatives: -Shams Dubai-
to connect the solar energy to the houses
and buildings and smart applications
through installation of smart meters and
networks and -Green Charger –to instruct
infrastructure and the electrical cars
charging stations.
He also viewed DEAW initiatives in clean
energy field including Mohammed bin
Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Energy Park
whose capacity will reach by 1000 2020
megawatts and by 5000 2030 megawatts.
E-Bag
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al
Maktoum visited in his tour the stand of
Dubai Public Prosecution as HE Esam Al
Hamidan, Public Prosecutor, presented
the new e-bag in order to reach elders and
patients in their homes to relieve them
from personal attendance to the Public
Prosecution to execute their transactions.

Maktoum also visited the stand of Dubai
Statistics Center and Araf Al Meheri,
Director-General explained the most
important aspects and the roadmap
in order to achieve the center national
objectives.
Humanitarian City
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al
Maktoum also visited the International
Humanitarian City and the personnel in
charge explained the city achievements
as the biggest center for humanitarian
aids at an international level. In addition,
the city plays a significant role in relieving
the refugees sufferings in Syria and other
conflict places in the world and Middle
East.
In the stand of Roads &Transport Authority,
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al
Maktoum viewed RTA initiative to provide
books of different languages for all users
of Dubai metro bookstores. In addition
to the main library in RTA that provides
books for all customers during waiting for
transaction completion and to use time
wisely in reading books.
Tatarstan History
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al

Happiness Message
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid
Al Maktoum continued his tour in
the exhibition and visited the stand
of General Directorate of Residency &
Foreigners’ Affairs and was briefed by Gen.
Mohammed Ahmed Al Meri about the
new initiative launched by the Directorate
to send e-messages to the nationals and
residents to know the extent of happiness
rate from the Directorate services . It also
issued badges for the customers who are
happy with such services especially the
passengers of different nationalities in
Dubai International Airport.
Customs Smart Glasses
Sultan Ahmed bin Salem, CEO of Dubai
Ports, Customs & Free Zones Corporation
explained to HH Sheikh Mohammed bin
Rashid Al Maktoum the new initiative in
innovation of smart glasses for the customs
personnel. Such glasses help detect the
travel luggage in airports and other points
and virtual passage of customs which helps
facilitate goods and cargos from point to
another without need for search many
times which costs about AED 160 m.
Space Industry
Finally, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin
Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President
and Prime Minister visited the stand of
Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center and
the personnel in charge presented the
latest innovations in the space industry
and the most important achievements
made in this field.
In the 4th exhibition, 35 local government
bodies and international government
bodies and 5 federal bodies participated
and this is for the first time.
